Week 1 is officially here! Coach Shelby and Schmidt talk with Senior, Hollywood Johnson, about coming to Clarksville High School. Plus, the Hall of Fame game is this Friday in the season and home opener for the Wildcats. 

Oakland 2025

The final scrimmage of the 2025 preseason is tomorrow at Vanderbilt! Coach Shelby and Schmidt discuss the game and what this final tune-up brings. Also, the podcast is joined by special guests in CHS Dance Teamer Presley Irwin and Cheerleader Laney Rogers along with Senior Linebacker and Captain, Dawson Smith.

Mt Juliet 2025

The first LIVE show from Varsity Pins was a success. Coach Shelby and Schmidt talked all things Clarksville High Football along with announcing the 2025 Hall of Fame class! Plus, Senior Wide Receiver Colie Reynolds joined us for the first ever current player interview! Creek Wood 2025

The Clarksville Wildcats will take the field for the first time as Team 119 when they travel to Creek Wood for their first of three summer scrimmages. Coach Shelby talks about this upcoming matchup, the upcoming schedule, and the importance of mixing up the opponents. Plus, Coach Shelby and Schmidt recap camp this previous week, and a new element for the coach's show will start next week as the show moves to Varsity Pins for a live show!

Coaches Roundtable

In one of the coolest episodes to date, Coach Schmidt gets to interview, Coach Shelby, Coach Stanley, and Dickson Head Coach Jeff Tomlinson. The four of them were all members of the 2006 Football Team that made it to the Class 4A State Quarterfinals. Coach Tomlinson was the offensive coordinator, Coach Shelby was the receivers coach, and Coach Stanley and Schmidt were receivers on the team. To add to this, Coach Tomlinson was an offensive coach for Shelby, Stanley, and Schmidt. 

Golf Tournament 2025

We are live from the 2025 Clarksville Football Alumni Golf Tournament! Coach Shelby and Ben Moore join the podcast to talk about the tournament and a new announcement for Hall of Fame voting! 

Youth Camp and Golf Scramble 2025

For the first time Clarksville High School Football will be hosting a youth football and flag football camp at CHS on June 9th-11th. Registration ends on May 23rd, NO WALK-UPS! Plus, the 2025 Alumni Golf Scramble is on June 13th at Swan Lake Golf Course. Follow us on social media for links to both events.

Seth Phillips

This week Coach Schmidt is joined by Class of 2020, Seth Phillips. Seth was a part of several playoff teams at CHS and now is a National Champion at Lindsey Wilson. 

Jim Irwin

Another coach joins the podcast this week as Offensive Line Coach, Jim Irwin, joins Coach Schmidt to talk about his journey to Clarksville High School and what has changed for him over the last five years. 

Nick Edwards

Nick Edwards joins Coach Schmidt to discuss his journey from Wildcat to Volunteer to Skyhawk. He talks about jumping into the portal and what is next for him after graduation. Plus, how he has worked the last two Super Bowls.
